Downpours expected in most parts of Armenia
A powerful cyclone will make landfall in Armenia late on Wednesday, delivering torrential rain and thunderstorms to most parts of the country.
Some regions of Armenia will see a monthly norm of precipitation on Thursday, Gagik Surenyan, Deputy Director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center, said in a social media post.
Downpours could cause rivers to overflow their banks, meteorologists warned.
Temperatures are set to drop by 6-9C from Thursday to Saturday.
