Armenian analyst: Upcoming U.S. elections one of the tightest in its history
Armenian political analyst Suren Sargsyan has called the upcoming U.S. presidential elections one of the tightest in the country’s history.
In a social media post on Wednesday, he pointed out that U.S. presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris had been neck and neck in most polls, adding that any event could be “decisive” for both candidates.
“It could be a war in the Middle East and the U.S. support for Israel, hurricanes raging in the U.S. (incidentally, the Harris campaign headquarters have already faced their negative effects) or even some medium-sized crime committed by an illegal immigrant,” the analyst wrote.
“The situation is extremely tense, polarized and sensitive (which resulted in assassination attempts against Trump), but only a few states are expected to decide the election outcome.
“The majority of votes will likely go to Harris, but it is the electors, not the voters, who decide the outcome. The states of Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Arizona, and Wisconsin will make this momentous decision in the upcoming elections. And Pennsylvania will lead the parade (maybe even conclude). Whoever loses Pennsylvania will likely lose the White House. There are 20 days left,” Sargsyan charged.
