Armenian government officials rejected debate on Artsakh cultural heritage, MP says
Armenian opposition MPs on Thursday hosted a debate on the destruction of Armenian cultural heritage in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
Armenian government officials declined to attend the meeting, MP Taguhi Tovmasyan announced, adding that they were presumably told to skip debates held by opposition deputies.
Artsakh lawmakers and government members, as well as Primate of the Artsakh Diocese Vrtanes Abrahamyan, were in attendance.
UN Armenia Office representatives and OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries' ambassadors also joined the discussion.
