Russia could facilitate Armenia's dialogue with BRICS, envoy says
Russia could help Armenia launch a dialogue with BRICS, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin said in an interview with RIA Novosti on Saturday.
“Russia, as BRICS chair in 2024, disseminates relevant information on the activities of the group and priorities of its chairmanship in contacts with Armenian partners, as well as in Armenia's information space. If Yerevan decides to establish a dialogue with BRICS, our Armenian friends can rely on Russia's support,” the diplomat noted.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is expected to attend the BRICS summit in Kazan on October 22-24.
