Ruben Vardanyan no longer Kamaz co-owner
Businessman and philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan, who is illegally imprisoned in Azerbaijan, is no longer listed among the co-owners of Avtoinvest LLC, a shareholder of Russia's largest truckmaker, Kamaz.
Russian media reports suggest that on October 17, Vardanyan’s 15% stake in Avtoinvest was transferred to Dmitry Artyakov, its CEO and, according to Forbes, a co-owner of the large railway operator Modum-Trans.
Kamaz told Kommersant that it did not make any comments on the actions of its shareholders.
Dmitry Artyakov is the son of Rostec Deputy CEO Vladimir Artyakov, a former AvtoVAZ president and governor of the Samara region.
