Armenia among best places to visit in 2025 named by Lonely Planet
Lonely Planet has put Armenia on its list of the 30 best destinations to travel in 2025.
The list includes the top countries, regions and cities around the world, chosen by Lonely Planet's well-traveled team.
"From a mass tourism perspective, Armenia remains relatively undiscovered – for now. This is the time to visit, before everyone else gets wise. See the South Caucasus, stunning monasteries, the new Armenian National Trail or simply savor a glass of Areni Noir in a vineyard – Armenia's wine scene is on par with any in the world," it says.
"Living in Armenia is a joy thanks to its vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes. When visiting, eat delicious tolma, explore ancient monasteries and enjoy Yerevan’s fun and safe nightlife," jazz singer Simela Namavar is quoted as saying.
