Blinken holds phone call with Turkish FM
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
"The Secretary expressed condolences to the Foreign Minister regarding the terrorist attack in Ankara on October 23," State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said in a statement.
"The Secretary and Foreign Minister discussed ongoing efforts to reach a diplomatic resolution to the conflict along the Blue Line in Lebanon. The Secretary reiterated that it is time to end the war in Gaza, and bring the hostages home. They also discussed the importance of achieving a just and durable peace in the South Caucasus, with increased interconnectivity that would benefit all in the region," reads the statement.
