Holy Struggle calls rally outside Armenian presidential palace
The Holy Struggle movement led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan urged supporters to gather outside the Armenian presidential palace on Friday to pressure President Vahagn Khachaturyan not to sign into law a bill on the ratification of the border delimitation deal with Azerbaijan.
The Armenian parliament on Wednesday ratified the agreement which includes regulations for joint activities of the Armenian and Azerbaijani government commissions dealing with the border delimitation process.
The opposition boycotted the vote, warning that it could be a prelude to further territorial concessions to Baku.
