Armenian FM 'cautiously optimistic' about peace deal with Baku
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has expressed “cautious optimism” about the conclusion of a peace agreement with Azerbaijan.
At parliamentary debates on the 2025 draft state budget on Thursday, Mirzoyan expressed hope that “one or two wordings” will also be agreed upon in the near future and the draft peace treaty will be ready for signing.
Addressing the border delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the minister stated that the two countries will soon officially notify each other about the entry into force of the regulations for joint activities of their border commissions.
Mirzoyan expressed hope that the border delimitation process will continue in 2025.
