Russia sees preconditions for improvement of South Caucasus situation
Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu says that Moscow sees prerequisites for improvement of the situation in the South Caucasus, but Western interference hinders progress.
“As for regional security in the South Caucasus, the situation remains complicated, but there are prerequisites for its improvement. This is hindered by external actors pursuing, to put it mildly, dishonest goals, primarily Western countries. This once again indicates that regional problems need regional solutions,” TASS quoted him as saying at a meeting of the CIS Security Council secretaries in Moscow.
