Deputy FM: Armenia hopes for full normalization with Turkey
Armenia hopes for full normalization of relations with Turkey, including the opening of their shared border, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan has said.
“We hope that eventually it will be possible to achieve not only the implementation of the agreements reached with Turkey, but also full normalization of relations between the two countries, including the establishment of diplomatic relations and the border opening,” Kostanyan told reporters on Thursday.
Separately, the deputy minister assured that the repatriation of Armenian prisoners, including Artsakh’s military and political leaders, held in Baku was among his ministry’s priorities.
"We maintain constant contact with our partners from the ICRC, who visit Armenian prisoners of war every month and share information on their health with us," he added.
