Armenian parliament commission's report on 2020 war probe ready, senior MP says
The Armenian parliament commission has completed its report on the outcome of a probe into the circumstances of the 2020 Artsakh war, senior pro-government MP Andranik Kocharyan says.
The extensive report includes “new revelations” regarding the causes and course of the 44-day war against Azerbaijan.
“The findings will be completely disclosed in the parliament,” Kocharyan, who heads the Standing Committee on Defense and Security, told reporters on Monday, adding its public accessibility was under discussion.
He added that the report could lead to new criminal cases.
“Thousands of criminal cases have already been launched. I will unveil the exact figures at a plenary parliament session,” the MP said.
