Putin, Aliyev hold phone call
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday held a telephone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev.
They discussed the implementation of mutually beneficial projects in the fields of industry and transportation in line with agreements reached during Putin's state visit to Azerbaijan in August, as well as the contacts made at the recent visit of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to Baku, the Kremlin reported.
"Mutual interest in further comprehensive development of the Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership and alliance was confirmed," the statement said.
The two leaders agreed to continue contacts at various levels.
