Visa restricts media access to key event in Yerevan
Visa has restricted the media access to the Cashless Forum 2024 to be held in Yerevan for the first time on November 22.
Only CivilNet, Mediamax and the Public TV Company have been allowed to cover the event, ARKA news agency reported, citing Anna Bubushyan, who represents Visa's interests in Armenia.
"ARKA news agency expressed interest in participating in the event too. However, we were told that the script of the event had already been approved and nothing could be changed," it said.
"In 2000, ARKA news agency was recognized by the Central Bank of Armenia as the best economic news agency in Armenia," the agency added.
