Holy Lance to be brought out on November 30
The Armenian Apostolic Church will celebrate the Feast of the Apostles St. Thaddeus and St. Bartholomew on 30 November this year, the Mother See reported.
Back in 2015, according to the Pontifical Encyclical of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the feast was proclaimed as a pilgrimage day of the Holy Lance (Geghard).
On the feast, a Divine Liturgy will be offered at the Mother Cathedral in Etchmiadzin starting from 11am, during which the Holy Lance will be brought out, the church press service said.
The relic will remain at the Etchmiadzin cathedral for the worship of the faithful until 6pm.
