Archbishop slams Pashinyan's 'nation-martyr' claims
Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of the Holy Struggle movement, on Saturday insisted on the ouster of the “government of evil” in Armenia.
In a live video on Facebook, Galstanyan blasted Pashinyan’s latest statement that Armenia must work to overcome its image as a “nation-martyr”.
“Martyrdom is about achieving something in return, when you sacrifice something to gain something else,” the cleric stated.
“I believe a defeated leader cannot make any comments on a nation-martyr. He is simply trying to create the image of a defeated nation, to keep us all under humiliation and psychological pressure,” Galstanyan said, adding the current leadership seeks Armenia’s collapse.
