Azerbaijan invited Armenia to 'cooperate' in criminal case against Artsakh leaders
Azerbaijan transferred the criminal case against Artsakh's military and political leaders to the Baku Military Court on Tuesday.
The Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office also invited Armenian authorities to "cooperate" in the criminal case.
"The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan invites the relevant authorities of the Republic of Armenia, guided by serious grounds for the presence of many suspects and witnesses in the aforementioned episodes in connection with this criminal case, to cooperate," the statement said.
The Artsakh political prisoners held by Baku include former Presidents Arayik Harutyunyan, Bako Sahakyan and Arkady Ghukasyan, former State Minister Ruben Vardanyan, former presidential advisor David Babayan, last Artsakh parliament speaker David Ishkhanyan, as well as former Artsakh army commander Levon Mnatsakanyan and former deputy commander David Manukyan.
