Armenian prosecutors seek to seize ex-senior official's assets
The Armenian Prosecutor General's Office seeks to confiscate expensive property and other assets of Levon Yolyan, the former head of Armenia’s Audit Chamber.
Prosecutors have asked the Anti-Corruption Court to allow the forfeiture of seven properties worth over 628 million drams, accusing him of illicit enrichment.
Additionally, the Prosecutor's Office plans to seize real estate in Yerevan worth more than 53 million drams, shares in three legal entities, a deposit of 32 million drams and around 1.57 billion drams considered the remainder of illicit funds.
Yolyan also served as Armenia's deputy health minister and minister of energy infrastructures and natural resources.
