Russia hopes that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will participate in the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the highest supranational body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), via video conference, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has said.
Pashinyan announced his decision to skip the informal summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) leaders in St. Petersburg on Wednesday after being diagnosed with Covid-19 a few days ago.
The premier has yet to decide on his participation in the EAEU meeting scheduled to be held in St. Petersburg on Thursday.
