MP calls out Pashinyan government's failure to handle security challenges
Opposition lawmaker Tigran Abrahamyan criticized Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government for mishandling national security challenges and cracking down on political dissent.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, he highlighted that 240 square kilometers of sovereign Armenian territory was occupied by Azerbaijan following the 2020 Artsakh war.
“Amid lack of international pressure and the Armenian leadership’s criminal inaction, Azerbaijan has faced no consequences for its acts of aggression and now has territorial claims against parts of Armenia,” the MP wrote.
“The Pashinyan government talks about everything, from daily routine to absurd agendas, but their understanding of national security is limited to fabricating charges against their political opponents and imprisoning them,” Abrahamyan added.
