Armenian archbishop links protest movement’s failure to organizational issues
Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of the Holy Struggle movement, pledged to continue campaigning for a change of government in Armenia, calling it an “unequivocal choice”.
“The struggle will continue until its goals are achieved, regardless of whether it is supported by just five people or 100,100 people,” he told a year-end press conference on Friday.
Galstanyan cited organizational issues and “misplaced trust in some political and non-political forces” as reasons for the protest movement's failure.
“I cannot elaborate further for ethical reasons,” he added.
