New cyclone from the Mediterranean to bring snow to Armenia
A new cyclone from the Mediterranean Sea is expected to make landfall in Armenia on Friday, bringing snowfall to several provinces across the country.
The cyclone will particularly impact Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Gegharkunik and Vayots Dzor Provinces, with heavy snow predicted in some areas.
Poor visibility and blizzard-like conditions are forecast for mountainous regions.
The capital Yerevan will also experience snow, with wet snow expected in the lower parts of the city.
