Armenia's existence and Pashinyan government 'incompatible', opposition MP says
Opposition lawmaker Tigran Abrahamyan claims Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s government has completely failed in all areas and poses threats to Armenia’s existence.
“I believe no one in our country doubts that in the future the current authorities will present any concessions to the people as “strengthening the state border”, “restoring sovereignty” or “advancing the peace agenda”,” he wrote on Facebook on Monday.
“They will do so with special pride and arrogance as they make these concessions. We know now that every time they make new concessions, they will redraw the map of the country and proudly present it as a victory, even if only Yerevan remains on that map in the end.
“No one in our country doubts anymore that the current authorities are not serving the interests of the Armenian people. It’s absolutely clear that the Pashinyan government has utterly failed and has no intention to ensure Armenia's security and resistance.
“Armenia’s existence and the Pashinyan government are fundamentally incompatible. As long as the current government remains in power, our statehood and identity are at risk,” Abrahamyan stated.
