Drivers warned about closed, icy roads in Armenia
The Rescue Service has warned drivers about road closure in Armenia on Monday morning.
In particular, the road linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is shut down.
Drivers are warned to watch out for black ice on the Aparan-Tsilkar and Sisian-Zanger roads.
Drivers are recommended to use winter tires.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is open to all traffic.
