Fog hits Armenian town
The Rescue Service has warned drivers of a road closure in Armenia as of Thursday morning.
In particular, the road connecting the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is currently inaccessible.
Foggy conditions have been reported in the town of Charentsavan.
Drivers are recommended to use winter tires.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is open to all traffic.
