Drivers warned of foggy conditions in parts of Armenia
The Rescue Service has warned drivers of a road closure and foggy weather conditions in Armenia as of Monday morning.
In particular, the road connecting the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is currently inaccessible.
Foggy conditions have been reported in Armenia's Shirak Province and Talin region.
Drivers are recommended to use winter tires.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is open to all traffic.
