Pashinyan highlights successes in 'balanced foreign policy'
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has reported significant progress in implementing the country's "balanced foreign policy", highlighting improved relations with key international partners.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, he hailed the high level of practical cooperation with Iran.
"Strategic partnership with Georgia is unlocking new development opportunities, while relations with Turkey have a visible foundation for mutual understanding," the premier wrote.
Pashinyan also addressed Armenia's ongoing normalization efforts with Azerbaijan, reaffirming the country's commitment to constructive solutions and rejecting attempts to escalate regional tensions. He further stated that Armenia's relationship with Russia "has become more practical, focusing on specific issues devoid of emotional overtones."
"Armenia seeks to develop these relations based on mutually beneficial cooperation and respect for sovereignty," he added.
Additionally, Pashinyan pointed to strengthened ties with France, the European Union, and the U.S., along with growing relations with India and China, as well as new opportunities for collaboration in the Middle East.
"These advancements are crucial for ensuring Armenia's independence and sovereignty," he underlined.
