Armenia welcomes Gaza ceasefire deal
The Armenian Foreign Ministry has welcomed the Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal between Israel and Hamas following 15 months of war.
"Armenia welcomes the agreement on ceasefire in Gaza which should ensure the release of hostages & captives of both sides, expressing our hope that it will be instrumental for guaranteeing the security of the Palestinian & Israeli peoples & paving the way for all-inclusive peace & stability in the wider Middle East region," the ministry posted on X on Thurday.
"The mediation efforts by the int’l community, especially by the US, Qatar, & Egypt, that led to this significant milestone, are highly valued," it added.
