Drivers warned of icy roads in some parts of Armenia
The Rescue Service has warned drivers about a road closure and icy conditions in Armenia.
In particular, the road linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is inaccessible.
Drivers have been warned to watch out for black ice on roads in the Aparan and Aragats regions.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is closed to trucks.
