15 candidates self-nominated for Chamber of Advocates Council
Fifteen candidates have self-nominated for the Council of Armenia's Chamber of Advocates. The election will take place at its general meeting on February 10. Silvi Tigranyan, a spokesperson for the Chamber of Advocates, told Panorama.am that all candidates self-nominated.
The candidates include Pavel Gyulumyan, Roman Aharonyan, Marine Farmanyan, Tamara Baghdasaryan, Tsolak Margaryan, Emin Beglaryan, Lilit Ghazanchyan, Davit Vardikyan, Davit Melkonyan, Varazdat Harutyunyan, Arsen Harutyunyan, Ruben Hakobyan, Levon Vardapetyan, Ashot Simonyan and Karen Aghajanyan.
The Council of the Chamber of Advocates is an executive body that oversees disciplinary decisions. It has 12 members who are elected for a four-year term by the general meeting.
