Opposition MP raises concerns about 'numerous violations' by Armenian leadership
Levon Kocharyan, an MP representing the opposition Hayastan faction in the Armenian parliament, has called attention to the "numerous violations" committed by Armenia’s leadership and what he described as the "inadequate" response from the European Union.
"As a member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, I participated in a meeting with the speakers and deputy speakers of the Nordic-Baltic Eight cooperation format, where I raised concerns about the numerous violations committed by the authorities, deviations from democratic principles and the EU’s inadequate response to them," he wrote on Facebook Friday.
