
France reaffirms support for ensuring Armenia's development and stability
A meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and French President Emmanuel Macron took place at the Élysée Palace on Monday, the Armenian government reported.
"The French President welcomed the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and thanked him for accepting the invitation to participate in the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit to be held in Paris. He highlighted the continuous development of multi-sectoral cooperation between Armenia and France and reaffirmed France’s support for ensuring Armenia’s development and stability," it said in a readout.
"Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked for the warm hospitality, emphasizing that 2024 has been a very dynamic year in terms of Armenia-France relations. The Prime Minister emphasized that numerous meetings have taken place between the leaders and departments of the two countries, regular contacts are maintained, and today the relations between Armenia and France have reached a new level."
During the meeting, the leaders of Armenia and France discussed a number of issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation, including the prospects for implementing joint programs in the economy, infrastructure, road construction, energy, education, tourism and other sectors.
