Homeland Party holds regular congress
The Homeland Party held its regular congress on Saturday, during which the reports of the party chairman and the audit commission were reviewed and approved. The congress also adopted an amended party charter.
According to its spokesperson, Sos Hakobyan, the congress held elections for the Homeland Party leadership and Artur Vanetsyan was re-elected its chairman.
Members of the party's governing body, the Executive Body (formerly called the Council under the previous charter), were also elected. They include Khachik Galstyan, Arsen Babayan, Sos Hakobyan, Robert Harutyunyan, Armina Darbinyan, Narine Adonts, Vardan Voskanyan, Babken Harutyunya and Vahe Dokhoyan. Zaven Hakobyan was elected chairman of the audit commission.
The congress also addressed domestic political issues and discussed the party’s future activities.
