In January 2025, the State Revenue Committee (SRC) secured 232.8 billion drams in tax revenues and state duties, an increase of 55.2 billion drams or 31.1% from the same period last year.

In a statement on Thursday, SRC said the tax authorities collected approximately 220.6 billion drams, exceeding the previous year's figure by 34.6 billion drams or 18.6%. Meanwhile, the customs authorities collected around 32.8 billion drams, an increase of 5.9 billion drams or 21.8% compared to the same period last year.

Overall, the combined collections of tax and customs authorities amounted to 253.4 billion drams, from which 20.6 billion drams was refunded to taxpayers and individuals. As a result, the tax revenues and state duties transferred to the state budget totaled 232.8 billion drams.
