Russian envoy slightly injured in traffic accident in Yerevan
Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin’s motor vehicle on Thursday had a traffic accident due to heavy snowfall in Yerevan with the envoy and his driver sustaining light injuries, TASS reported, citing the embassy’s press service.
"We are informing that due to extreme weather conditions in Yerevan, the motor vehicle of the Russian ambassador to Armenia has experienced a road accident," it said in a statement.
"Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopyrkin and his driver sustained light injuries. They received necessary medical aid. Their well-being is not in danger," the press service noted.
