Yerevan to host 'unprecedented' tourism exhibition in April
The ITF Armenia 2025 International Tourism Exhibition will take place at Yerevan's Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex from April 4-6. The event is organized by the Tourism Committee and the Armenian Tourism Federation.
Tourism Committee Chairperson Lusine Gevorgyan described the event as “unprecedented” at a press conference on Tuesday.
“Travel agencies, hotels and airlines will all come together under one roof,” Gevorgyan stated.
Representatives from government agencies and private companies from around the world are expected to attend the event. According to Gevorgyan, the event serves as a key platform for international cooperation, allowing global companies to present themselves in Armenia while providing Armenian businesses with opportunities to expand into international markets.
Armenian Tourism Federation President Mekhak Apresyan underscored the importance of the exhibition in fostering international cooperation and promoting the growth of domestic tourism.
“We have good experience hosting international tourism exhibitions in Armenia. However, ITF Armenia 2025 will go beyond a traditional exhibition, serving as a dynamic platform where industry stakeholders can unite, establish a shared vision and engage in effective cooperation,” Apresyan noted.
He added that the exhibition will become an annual event, offering a valuable opportunity not only for international partnerships but also for identifying and developing competitive domestic tourism resources and products.
