If Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict is resolved, problems between Turkey and Armenia will also be resolved – Erdogan
Turkey’s newly elected President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is in the Azerbaijani capital Baku on an official visit, among other topics, spoke about the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, Turkish newspaper Milliyet reports.
“If the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia is resolved, then the problems between Turkey and Armenia will also be resolved,” Erdogan said in a statement prior to the meeting of the Azerbaijani and Turkish delegations following his bilateral meeting with Ilham Aliyev.
“We have always said this previously and I reiterate it now,” Erdogan said, adding that Ankara will continue supporting Baku in this issue.
