Karabakh Defense Army: Azerbaijan attempts subversive raid
Azerbaijani forces attempted a border infiltration attack around 5:15am on April 21 in northeastern direction of the Line of Contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces (Seisulan), the press service of Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army said.
The Karabakh frontline forces detected the advance of the enemy’s subversive group and organized ring defense. After the fight that lasted about 15 minutes the enemy retreated, leaving blood traces and ammunition on the scene.
The Karabakh Defense Army suffered no losses.
According to a preliminary report, at least one Azerbaijani serviceman was killed and some were wounded.
The details of the incident are being clarified.
