Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday that Tehran’s “final and irreversible” decision was to return to compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal only if Washington lifts sanctions on the Islamic Republic, Iranian state TV reported. The deal between Iran and six major powers limited Iran’s uranium enrichment activity to make it harder for Tehran to develop nuclear arms - an ambition Iran has long denied having - in return for the easing of U.S. and other sanctions.

Former world heavyweight champion Leon Spinks, best known for defeating Muhammad Ali in 1978, has died at the age 67, according to a statement from his publicist.
Spinks lost his five-year battle with prostate and other cancers on Friday evening.

A year after his death from COVID-19, residents in the Chinese city of Wuhan say they remain grateful to the “whistleblower” doctor who first sounded the alarm about the outbreak before it received official recognition. Li Wenliang, an ophthalmologist at a hospital in the city, became one of the most visible figures in the early days of the outbreak in Wuhan when he tried to sound the alarm about its appearance, but was reprimanded by police for “spreading rumours.”

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel says there is no limit to what Mason Mount can achieve in his career. The 22-year-old starred in the Blues' 1-0 win over Tottenham on Thursday night playing in a number 10 role as Chelsea made it seven points from Tuchel's three games in charge. Mount was a favourite of former boss Frank Lampard, but was left out of Tuchel's first game in charge. However, he was restored to the side against Burnley and looks to have made an impression on the new manager.
