Andrias Ghukasyan pondering over visiting clinic as his medical tests show abnormalities
First Deputy Health Minister Hayk Darbinyan, accompanied by head of Hematology Center Smbat Daghbashyan, visited hunger-striking presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasyan last evening after receiving the results of his medical tests, Armenian Health Ministry reported.
Armenian Health Ministry is responsible for the health of each citizen of Armenia. Armenian Health Minister and First Deputy Health Minister warned Ghukasyan that his prolonged hunger strike might lead to irreversible consequences.
Therefore, the Health Ministry urged the candidate to undergo medical examination in a clinic.
With his blood and urine tests showing abnormalities, last evening Ghukasyan was once again urged to visit a clinic.
Ghukasyan promised to announce his decision at 11:00 today.
