Hair dyeing, celebrating the wake, baking bread and drying clothes are banned in Nakhichevan
Residents of Nakhichevan spread in the Facebook information about the ban on hair dyeing. A teacher of Nakhichevan secondary school wrote in the social network that this ban is a gross violation of human rights.
According to the Virtualaz.org site, a few days before the school year would start meetings were held at schools during which it was announced that from this year on the teachers who grow their nails, have their hair dyed, put on short skirts, low-cut dress or high heels are not admitted to enter the school. They will just be quitted as the order had come "from above" and is mandatory for execution.
The order was spread through all the beauty salons of Nakhichevan: the women are strictly forbidden to dye their hair, especially in light colors. Earlier employees of state structures in Nakhichevan received a ban on wearing clothes with short sleeves.
The head of the Supreme Majlis of Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan Vasif Talibov, who considers himself a local "Khan", has already banned the Nakhichevan residents to use Internet and social networks. All Internet clubs were closed last week there. All possible places for gatherings are closed too: coffees, tea houses, and now also the hairdressers. It is also forbidden to walk in the street with groups, hang out washing on the balcony, bake bread at home, as well as celebrating the wakes.
Experts think all these bans by Talybov are related to the upcoming presidential elections in Azerbaijan and the possible protests to be held by the opposition.
