Armenian soldier killed on Karabakh frontline position
Azerbaijan continued the intensive violations of the ceasefire regime at the Line of Contact with Karabakh troops on the night of February 4 and throughout the day on February 5.
As a result, at around 4:15 on Thursday, an Armenian soldier, Shakespeare Hakobyan, sustained a fatal gunshot wound on the defense position of a military unit located in the eastern direction of the NKR Defense Army, the Defense Army’s press service reported.
The Defense Army’s frontline forces took adequate actions. The enemy suffered casualties as well.
The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry shares the grief of the loss and expresses its sympathy to Shakespeare Hakobyan’s family, relatives and fellow servicemen.
