Karabakh soldier awarded posthumously
Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Bako Sahakyan on Friday signed a decree posthumously awarding the Medal for Service in Battle to private of NKR Defense Army Shakespeare Hakobyan for bravery during the defense of the NKR’s state border.
On February 5, Shakespeare Hakobyan sustained a fatal gunshot wound on the defense position of a military unit located in the eastern direction of the NKR Defense Army as Azerbaijan intensively violated the ceasefire.
